8 Layer Party Dip

This is always a big hit at parties. I prefer to start with some homemade guacamole. 16 oz can refried beans 16 oz sour cream 16 oz guacamole or avocado dip 1 can black olives, sliced 8 large Roma tomatoes, diced 8 green onions, sliced 2 medium avocados 2 cups grated cheddar cheese 1 package taco seasoning 2 diced jalapeño peppers (optional) Mix the taco seasoning into the sour cream. Dice 1 1/2 avocados. Slice the other half for a garnish. Spread the beans on a large serving platter. Top with the guacamole. Pour the sour cream mixture over the guacamole. Layer the onions, tomatoes and avocado (and jalapeños if you use them). Top with the cheese and olives. Place the avocado slices around the edges of the platter. Serve with restaurant style tortilla chips. Note: white corn chips are too thin and will break!
