Italian Beef Casserole

A quick and simple, yet very tasty, dinner that allows for leftovers. 1 pound ground beef 6-7 oz pasta (about 2 cups cooked) 16 ounce can of diced tomatoes 15 ounce can tomato sauce 2 teaspoon Parsley Flakes 2 teaspoon Basil 1/2 teaspoon oregano 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon onion granules 1/2 teaspoon garlic granules 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning Sea salt and ground pepper to taste 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and cool. Brown ground beef with seasonings. Strain off the fat. Add diced tomatoes and tomato sauce to the beef and heat to a slow boil. Boil for about 1 minute, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 10 minutes. Add cheese and stir over low heat until blended then add the pasta and stir gently until pasta is coated with the sauce and all the cheese has melted.
