Blended Fruit Smoothies

I love smoothies. But finding one that’s exactly the way I like is sometimes tough. I’m not a fan of sugar or sugary syrups so I’m usually not pleased with the smoothies I can find when out and about. The best solution is to make your own ... so I did. 1/2 Cup Milk (we use almond milk) 1/2 Cup Plain (unflavored) yogurt 1 Cup Ice 2 Cups Fresh or Frozen (thawed) fruit 1-2 Tablespoons local wildflower honey Crush ice in blender or ice crusher. Combine all other ingredients with ice in blender and blend on puree setting until well blended. Pour into glass or mug and enjoy. My favorite blend so far is 1 cup blueberries, 1/3 cup strawberries, and 2/3 cup red raspberries. Another hit here at home is 1 cup Mango chunks, 1/3 cup peach slices, and 2/3 cup pineapple chunks. I also add a dash of cinnamon to this one.
